CHATEAU CLERC MILON

Neighbor of the most prestigious 1er Crus Classés,

Château Lafite and Mouton Rothschild, Château Clerc Milon is a Pauillac 5th classified growth of great finesse. Owned by the Rothschild family, that of Mouton, since 1970, the château has grown steadily since then and is today one of the great wines of Pauillac.

The 2016 vintage is of high quality, rich and full-bodied, with Merlots reminiscent of those of Mouton Rothschild.

Tasting note

Very deep, almost black color with brilliant reflections.
The delicate and elegant nose reveals a beautiful intensity of ripe fruit, associated with liquorice and peppery notes.
The attack, full and precise, reveals a dense, creamy substance, developing a generous and balanced taste character. The mid-palate lines the palate with its flavors of blackberries and blueberries, revealing fine tannins accompanied by the expression of a spicy oak.

The finish, long and airy, unfolds in stages in a fleshy whole, all nuanced by chocolate notes.
